1 quantity Stovetop popcorn
1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
30g unsalted butter
1 tablespoon caster sugar
salt, to taste

Method

  1. Cook the popcorn according to the Stovetop popcorn instructions, adding the vanilla bean to the saucepan with the popcorn kernels.
  2. Remove the vanilla bean from the popped popcorn and scrape the seeds into a small heavy-based saucepan. Add the butter, sugar and salt and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring regularly.
  3. Drizzle the butter mixture over the popcorn and toss to coat.
