Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 tablespoon palm sugar
2-3 teaspoons chilli flakes
1 tablespoon peanut oil
3 tablespoons lime juice
salt and ground black pepper
1 quantity Stovetop popcorn
or 2 quantities Microwave popcorn

Method

  1. In a small heavy-based saucepan, combine the palm sugar, chilli flakes, oil, lime juice, and salt and pepper. Heat over medium–high heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is well combined.
  2. Drizzle the chilli–lime mixture over the popcorn. Stir with a wooden spoon to coat.
