No one knows exactly where the Bloody Mary originated from. However, there is a legend that it was created by a Polish barman working in a New York nightclub in the 1930s. I choose to believe this story because the cocktail combines vodka and horseradish, which has Polish taste written all over it!

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
50ml zubrowka bison grass vodka
1/2 teaspoon horseradish sauce
splash worcestershire sauce
pinch salt
pinch white pepper
200ml tomato juice
splash tabasco sauce, (or to taste)
celery stalk
carrot stick

Method

  1. In a tall glass, mix the vodka, horseradish, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper then top up with tomato juice. Add some ice and as much Tabasco as you fancy. Finish with a stalk of celery and a stick of carrot.
