Orange, sesame and ginger dressing

The sesame oil gives this dressing a strong Asian accent, which is great in noodle salads. Allow the noodles to marinate for at least 30 minutes prior to eating to really develop the flavour. Refrigerate for up to one week.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 tablespoon ginger juice, (see note)
1 teaspoon brown rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon dark sesame oil

Method

  1. Whisk all the dressing ingredients together in a bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.

Note

  • Grate a 4 cm knob of ginger, place in a muslin cloth (cheesecloth) and squeeze out the juice.
