150g unsalted butter

Method

  1. Put the butter into a heavy-based saucepan and melt very gently over the lowest possible heat. The milk solids will separate out and fall to the bottom of the pan. Carefully pour the pure clarified butter into a bowl, leaving the milk solids behind in the pan.
