Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 teaspoon olive oil
4 x 120 g pieces sashimi tuna
4 small bok choy, washed well and cut into quarters
1 cup chinese broccoli, cut into 2 cm pieces
150g mushrooms
2 tablespoons tamari
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
2 cm piece ginger, grated
1 garlic clove, crushed
few drops sesame oil

Method

  1. Rub the olive oil onto the tuna. Heat a frypan over high heat until hot. Cook the tuna for 1 minute on each of its four sides. Remove from the pan and let rest while you cook the vegetables.
  2. Heat the frypan to hot. Add 2 tablespoons of water and toss in all the vegetables. Stirring constantly, add the tamari, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and sesame oil. The vegetables should still be slightly crunchy.
  3. Serve the seared tuna immediately with the stir-fried greens on the side.
