Berries work wonderfully, as do bananas, raisins, dried fruit, yoghurts, milk, so go for it and play around. Ingredients Quantity Ingredient 1 banana, sliced 2 tablespoons blueberries 600ml milk 1 tablespoon strawberries or 1 tablespoon raspberries 2 tablespoons oats or 2 tablespoons muesli Method Bung all the ingredients into a jug where you can whizz them together using a hand held blender. Zap it all until all the fruit is crushed and combined with the milk, which usually takes just under 1 minute. Pour into a large glass and enjoy. Leftovers: Drink it straight away as it won’t keep for long – your delicious smoothie will soon turn from light pink to nasty brown.
