Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 large pieces cinnamon bark
40g walnuts, finely chopped
sugar, to taste

Method

  1. Put 500 ml water into a long-handled coffee pot (rakwi). Add the cinnamon and bring to the boil.
  2. Boil gently for 5 minutes, then remove the cinnamon.
  3. Put 2 teaspoons walnuts in each of four tea glasses. Pour the tea into the glasses and add sugar to taste.
  4. Serve with a spoon.
