Method

  1. Reduce the garlic in the recipe for habeet I to 3 cloves and omit the pepper and vinegar. When the broth is well skimmed, add some salt, the chopped garlic, 1 teaspoon ground turmeric and 1 tablespoon baharat. Cover and simmer as before. Serve with timman.
