Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
240g greek-style yoghurt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon runny honey, to taste
3 ruby grapefruit
3 large oranges
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons dark muscovado sugar
1 teaspoon allspice
a handful pecans, toasted and chopped

Method

  1. Mix together the yoghurt, cinnamon and honey and chill until needed. Peel the grapefruit and oranges and cut away the white pith with a sharp knife. Working over a bowl to catch the juice, cut between the membranes to remove the segments. Heat the butter in a frying pan and add juice from the bowl, the sugar, allspice and 50ml water. Gently simmer, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved and the liquid has reduced to syrup. Spoon the fruit into serving bowls and top with the syrup, spiced yoghurt and pecans. Serve immediately.
