Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
225g pitted fresh dates
150g rolled oats
80g raisins
50g dried apples
50g skinless blanched hazelnuts
25g ground almonds
25g walnuts
3 tablespoons Apple sauce, unsweetened
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
A pinch ground nutmeg

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and blitz to produce a well-combined and slightly coarse, sticky mixture. Firmly press into a 20cm square tray or brownie tin lined with cling film. Chill for 2 hours, or until set, then cut into squares. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
