Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
250g plain flour, plus more for dusting
A pinch salt
125g cold butter, diced
1 egg

Method

  1. Place the flour, salt and butter in a food processor and pulse until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add the egg and pulse again until the mixture comes together. Tip onto a lightly floured work surface and shape into a smooth disc without kneading. Wrap in cling film and chill for 30 minutes before rolling.
