A Year In My Kitchen

As I arrange the different elements of the mezze on the plate. I like to add a few roasted tomatoes, a little fresh goat’s cheese and a scattering of braised lentils, but you could leave the lentils out to keep it simpler if you prefer. A drizzle of basil oil brings it altogether on the plate.

  1. To assemble your mezze, place a large spoonful of each purée on each individual serving plate and pile the dressed salad alongside. Put a couple of roasted tomato halves and a little goat’s cheese on top and scatter some braised lentils around, if using. Drizzle with basil oil and serve!
