Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 tablespoons double cream
2 teaspoons ground coriander
salt
4 dried figs
8 dried apricots
4 slices wholemeal multigrain bread
150g comte
1 teaspoon coriander seeds

Method

  1. Mix the double cream with the ground coriander and a pinch of salt. Chop the figs and apricots. Spread the slices of bread with the coriander cream mixture and sprinkle with the chunks of fig and apricot. Top with grated or thinly sliced Comté cheese. Sprinkle with coriander seeds bruised in a mortar with a pestle. enjoy all year round
