This is such a light, floral, summery cocktail. If you can’t find elderflower cordial or haven’t made your own, try replacing it with a bitter liqueur like Aperol or Campari, like they do in Italy, and omitting the gin. I like to make these in jam jars with plenty of ice and garnish them with gooseberries, elderflower or rose petals.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
25ml gin
25ml elderflower champagne or cordial
75ml prosecco
soda water, to top up

To garnish

Quantity Ingredient
fresh gooseberries
elderflowers
rose petals

Method

  1. Pour the gin into the glass over ice with the elderflower champagne or cordial and add the prosecco. Top up with soda water and garnish with gooseberries and elderflowers. Cheers!
