Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 red chillies
squeeze lime juice
1/8 teaspoon shrimp paste, roasted, (optional)
a little sugar, to taste (optional)
100g fried peanuts, roughly crushed
1 kaffir lime leaf, shredded
salt, to taste
hot water, to moisten

Method

  1. Grind the chillies, lime juice and the shrimp paste and sugar together until roughly mashed. Combine with the peanuts, lime leaf and salt and mix well, adding sufficient hot water to moisten.
