Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1/2 fresh coconut, grated
or 125g prepared desiccated coconut
250g finely minced beef
2 small garlic cloves, smashed and chopped
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground coriander
pinch freshly ground cumin
1 egg
vegetable oil, for deep-frying

Method

  1. Grind the grated coconut as finely as you can. Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and mix well. Shape into small balls and deep-fry until brown.
