Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 1/2 teaspoons cumin seeds
1 cucumber, grated
350ml greek yogurt
1/4 bunch mint, leaves picked and finely chopped
1/2 lemon, juiced
salt

Method

  1. Put the cumin seeds into a small dry frying pan, place over a medium heat and stir until the seeds are slightly darker and smell aromatic. Tip into a mortar and grind to a powder with the pestle.
  2. Once the cucumber has been grated, squeeze it to remove as much liquid as possible. Place into a bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Season with salt to taste, mix well and serve immediately.
