A velvety, airy, deep purple smoothie, full of blood-building beetroot and antioxidant-rich blackberries. A really healthy vitamin-rich drink that tastes delicious.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
handful blackberries
200ml apple juice
1/2 medium beetroot, peeled and finely grated
1 dessert apple, cored and finely grated

Method

  1. Blend the blackberries and the apple juice for two minutes, then strain the juice and discard the blackberry pulp. Place the beetroot and apple into the blender, add the strained juice and blend on high for three or four minutes.
