We tried creating a smoothie out of eggs, bacon, sausage and beans, but it just didn’t work out so well. Instead we settled for this combination.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 frozen banana
1/2 apple, skin on, cored
2 medjool dates, pitted
50g rolled oats
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 tablespoons flaxseeds
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
100ml water
squeeze lemon juice

Method

  1. Blitz all the ingredients together in a blender until smooth. If you find that it’s a little too thick for your liking, just add a touch more water and blend some more.

Pip’s top tip:

  • If you aren’t using a frozen banana, swap the water for ice.
