Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
100g almonds
100ml coconut nectar
50ml filtered water

Method

  1. Blitz the almonds in a food processor until finely chopped.
  2. Place the nuts in a fine sieve and shake off excess nut meal, leaving nicely clean chopped nuts.
  3. Combine the chopped nuts in a bowl with coconut nectar and water and stir to coat.
  4. Cover and allow to sit for a couple of hours, then pour the mixture into a sieve and drain the liquid.
  5. Place the nuts onto a non-stick sheet and dehydrate at 40°C overnight.
  6. Flip the nuts after a couple of hours to ensure they dry evenly.
  7. Allow to cool, then break into shards
