20ml sugar syrup
20ml lemon juice
40ml salers gentian liqueur
champagne
ice cubes

1 tip a sprig of mint leaves

Method

  1. Pour the ingredients, except the Champagne, into the shaker and shake until frost appears, then pour into a double old-fashioned glass filled with crushed ice.
  2. Add the Champagne and decorate with the tip of a sprig of fresh mint leaves.
  3. This fresh and sparkling cocktail perfectly sets off the gentle bitterness of the gentian and makes a perfect aperitif.
