Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
50ml vodka, infused with cardamom seeds
20ml lime juice
15ml sugar syrup
5ml ginger syrup
2 dashes angostura bitters
fever tree ginger beer
1 star anise
ice cubes

Method

  1. Pour the ingredients, except for the ginger beer and star anise, into the shaker and shake vigorously until frost appears on the tumbler. Filter into a large highball type glass filled with ice cubes and top up with the ginger beer.
  2. Decorate with the star anise and serve.
  3. This fresh and slightly spicy cocktail is a thirst quencher at aperitif time and at any time in the evening.
