Ingredients

120ml tequila
120ml lime juice
90ml mezcal
90ml agave syrup
90ml green chartreuse
6 dashes mezcal, infused with coriander and dried red chilli peppers, (see note)
ice cubes

Decoration

4-5 slices cucumber

2 shakers

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients in two shakers, and shake until frost forms on the surface of the metal tumbler, then filter into a chilled decanter to keep the cocktail at as cold a temperature as possible.
  2. Everyone can then serve themselves into an ice-filled glass and top with a slice of cucumber.
  3. Slightly acidic, herby and spicy, this is a cocktail to please lovers of exciting flavour sensations.

Note

  • Place the ingredients in the bottle and leave to infuse; the longer you leave it the stronger the flavour.
