Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
10 thin slices prosciutto
100g sugar

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place the prosciutto slices on the tray. Sprinkle the sugar over each slice and place in the oven. Once the sugar starts to caramelise, turn the oven off and leave the prosciutto in the oven for 1 hour until crisp and dried. Break the candied prosciutto into small pieces. Store in an airtight container.
