Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
16 passionfruit
2 large tablespoon butter
4 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups sugar

Method

  1. Remove fruit pulp from skins and put it into a saucepan with sugar, eggs and butter. Stir mixture over fire until thick but do not let it boil. When cold, put into sterilised jars and cover.

Tip

  • If you don’t have a fire handy as Gran did in the 1930s, low heat on a stove top works fine as a substitute!
