A very simple and quick dinner which is perfect for those nights when you're short on time.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 teaspoons grated root ginger
2 tablespoons plum sauce
4 butterflied pork steaks
salt and freshly ground black pepper
oil, for cooking

Method

  1. Mix together the ginger and the plum sauce and brush over the pork steaks. Season with the salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a heavy-based frying pan over medium–high heat and add a splash of oil. Cook the pork steaks for 3–4 minutes on each side. Serve with steamed rice.
