Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
90g mars bar, roughly chopped, (or other chocolate and caramel bar),
4 tablespoons thickened cream
4 bananas, peeled and halved lengthwise
4 generous scoops vanilla ice-cream
3-4 tablespoons toasted almond flakes

Method

  1. To make the sauce, combine the Mars Bar with the cream in a bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir frequently until the mixture has melted to form a smooth sauce.
  2. Arrange 2 banana halves in each of four dessert bowls or glass dishes. Top with a scoop of ice-cream and drizzle on the warm sauce. Sprinkle with toasted almond flakes, to serve.
