Ingredients

2 tablespoons sago
750ml milk
55g sugar
3 eggs
1/2 teaspoon natural vanilla extract

Method

  1. Simmer sago in milk until grains have swelled, then pour into bowl and cool. Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
  2. Pour into buttered ovenproof dish. Place dish in tin of hot water and bake in a preheated moderate oven (180°C) for about 1 hour. Serve warm or chilled.
