Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
6 large cooking apples, peeled and cored
120g glace fruit, chopped
30g sultanas
60ml rum
1 tablespoon sugar
30g butter

Method

  1. Extract some of the inside of the apples and chop. Mix with glacé fruit, sultanas and rum. Fill apples with this mixture, sprinkle with sugar and dot with butter.
  2. Bake in a preheated hot oven for about 35 minutes, sprinkling with water from time to time. Serve warm, with cream if desired.
