Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 tablespoons dark treacle
2 tablespoons spicy mustard
1/2 lemon, juiced
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
840g baked beans in tomato sauce
500g frankfurts, thickly sliced

Method

  1. Combine treacle, mustard, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan and heat gently. Add beans and frankfurts and simmer for about 10 minutes, or place in a casserole, top with frankfurts and bake in a preheated moderate oven for about 30 minutes.
