8 ripe slipstone nectarines
55g caster sugar
1 lemon, juiced

Method

  1. Slice nectarines into a glass bowl by making an incision down the natural division of the fruit deep enough to reach stone. Make another incision beside it and slice out section. Continue in this way around fruit to give even slices. Sprinkle sugar over fruit, then lemon juice. Serve immediately.
