Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
60g semi-sweet chocolate
190ml water
75g sugar
625ml milk
190ml double-strength black coffee
1 teaspoon natural vanilla extract

Method

  1. Put chocolate, water and sugar in saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring until chocolate has melted. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and gradually stir in milk. Add coffee and heat to scalding (do not boil). Stir in vanilla.
