Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 tablespoons butter
750g minced steak
1 onion, finely chopped
425g tinned tomatoes, drained and chopped
250ml beef stock, hot
125g pasta shells
1/2 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
1 teaspoon chilli powder
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
salt and freshly ground black pepper
225g baked beans
parsley, finely chopped, to garnish

Method

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan and brown meat and onion. Stir in all the remaining ingredients except baked beans and parsley. Mix together well and simmer gently for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water if necessary. When meat is cooked and pasta is tender, stir in beans and heat through. Garnish with chopped parsley.
