Skewered lemon prawns

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
125ml light soy sauce
125ml vegetable oil
125ml lemon juice
1 small onion, grated
1kg raw prawns, shelled and de-veined

Method

  1. Mix together soy sauce, oil, lemon juice and onion. Add prawns, turning to coat in mixture, and marinate for at least 2 hours. Thread onto skewers (if using wooden skewers soak for 1 hour in water to prevent them burning), reserving marinade. Grill for 5–10 minutes depending on size of prawns, brushing often with marinade.
