Quantity Ingredient
2 large bunches broccoli
90g butter
30g slivered or flaked almonds, blanched
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method

  1. Wash broccoli, pull off large, coarse leaves and cut off tough lower parts of stalks. Cook in rapidly boiling water for about 15 minutes or until just tender. Drain and arrange on heated serving platter. Melt butter and fry almonds until golden. Add lemon juice and pour over broccoli.
