A tuna dish with an incredibly luxurious texture, this is a really healthy but indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient

For the onion dressing

Quantity Ingredient
1 onion, roughly chopped
1 tablespoon clear honey
1 tablespoon sushi vinegar
1 tablespoon grapeseed oil
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 tablespoon dill, finely chopped

For the tartare

Quantity Ingredient
50g sushi-grade tuna loin
1/2 avocado

Method

  1. Blitz all the ingredients for the onion dressing in a blender until smooth.
  2. With a sharp knife, finely mince the tuna. Now you can go 2 ways: either slice the avocado and place the slices on a mound of tuna, or mash the avocado to a smooth paste and mix it in with the minced tuna.
  3. Serve it with the onion dressing, and with wasabi paste for dipping.
