Lucy Cufflin's Story

Lucy trained at the Cordon Bleu School in London before taking up the position of chef to the British Ambassador in Sweden. There she fell in love with skiing and moved to France as head chef in a large ski hotel in Tignes. She made the French Alps her home for the next 15 years cooking for guests in her own ski chalet cooking in the Caribbean and Turkey over the summers.
She has worked as Executive Chef for Skiworld ltd for 10 years, coordinating and creating recipes and menus for over 100 ski chalets all over Europe and North America.
Lucy is managing Director of Lucy’s Food that caters for events and parties in Leicestershire and bakes for pubs, cafes and restaurants including Debenham’s in store cafes. She says that if she is not actually cooking then she is either shopping for food, planning food or dreaming about it – a true self confessed foodie. A love she inherited from her mother.
Although her heart remains in the mountains she divides her time between London, Leicester and French Alps.
