A freshly pressed juice is the perfect accompaniment to any breakfast. I love this one because it uses up what’s left at the back of the refrigerator – waste not, want not!

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 carrots, washed and chilled
2 red apples, (stems and pips removed if your home juicer requires)
2cm piece of ginger, peeled
4 ice cubes

Method

  1. Run the carrots, apples, and ginger through a juicer.
  2. Serve in glasses over ice.
