Chocolate crackles. More like chocolate CRACK; am I right? These are so tasty you will be dribbling for more at the refrigerator door. And I’m sorry if I have started a new addiction here, but these are just a great way to enjoy an old childhood classic.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
60g almond butter
90g raw honey
30g desiccated coconut
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
55g unsweetened brown rice crisps
or rice puffs

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir together until combined.
  2. Take about a tablespoon of the mixture at a time and roll it into 2.5 cm (1 in) balls. Place the balls in an airtight container then refrigerate or freeze them. These will keep for up to 2 weeks in the fridge, and a couple of months in the freezer.

NOTE

  • I use brown rice crisps for these. If you use rice puffs instead, you’ll end up with about 24 balls as the puffs are bigger than crisps.
