Roast garlic makes a great addition to sauces, purées and dressings.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
12 fat garlic cloves, unpeeled
1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
salt
4 sprigs thyme
pepper

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 160°C. Place all the ingredients in a small roasting pan and toss gently together. Roast for 20 minutes, until the garlic cloves are golden and soft.
