Of course, this is my favourite chapter and that’s perhaps why sweet treats, puddings, desserts – whatever you want to call them – are always in the back of the book; because we save the best for last. All my recipes are made with natural sweeteners, wholegrains, fruits and even some vegetables, too. Sweet treats do not have to be made with refined sugar, butter and white flour to taste good. Those ingredients zap your energy and, personally, I want a treat that’s going to give me energy, not take it away. I think you’ll see what I mean after you try a few of these recipes.
