When I make this juice, I like to put the kale in the juicer first, before the other ingredients, as it helps to extract more kale goodness.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 handfuls kale
4 carrots
1 pear
1/2 lemon, peeled
2.5cm piece of fresh ginger

Method

  1. Push all the ingredients through a juicer one at a time and enjoy.

Note

  • As far as fruits are concerned, pears are low in sugar and therefore a great way to satiate your sweet tooth without terrorising your blood sugar.
