Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 1/2 tbsp salt
100ml vinegar
5 free-range eggs

Method

  1. Put the salt and vinegar into a saucepan with 8 cups water and bring to the boil. Add the eggs and cook for 5 minutes for soft-boiled eggs or 11 minutes for hard-boiled. Remove, cool and peel.
