I haven’t gone mad. Remember you are not to eat 30 strawberries yourself. About three will do the trick. Make sure they are uniform in shape. Serve with coffee.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 large strawberries per person
150g good-quality dark melting chocolate

Method

  1. Prepare each strawberry by washing and drying but keep the leaves intact. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Gently melt the chocolate over a bain-marie or in a small bowl in the microwave.
  3. Dip each strawberry into the chocolate so that half is covered and place on the tray. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. To serve, use a nice platter and place each strawberry gently on the plate by using the leaf as a ‘holder’.
