There are many smoothie/shake lovers out there, but I am certainly not one of them. It’s a psychological thing – I could never call a beverage breakfast. But my brain makes an exception for this shake, which is likely due to my infatuation with peanut butter.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 ripe banana
3 tablespoons organic peanut butter
2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
1 tablespoon rice malt syrup, (or your sweetener of choice)
200ml almond milk

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients into a jug and whizz them up with a handheld blender (or a regular blender if you have one).
  2. Pour into a big glass if you’re feeling hungry (or thirsty?), or two if you’d like to share.
  3. Serve immediately.
