Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 eggs
butter
flour
sugar
a few drops vanilla essence

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Weigh the eggs together, then measure out the same weight each of the butter, flour and sugar.
  3. Mix all the ingredients using an electric mixer until smooth, then pour the batter into a greased and floured kugelhopf cake tin.
  4. Bake for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean.
