This garnish marries perfectly with nasi goreng.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup raw peanuts, shelled and peeled
1 cup desiccated coconut
2 teaspoons raw sugar
1 teaspoon sea salt

Method

  1. Brown the peanuts in a wok over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove the peanuts from the wok and set aside.
  2. Add the coconut, sugar and salt to the wok and stir until the coconut browns. Tip the mixture into a bowl and mix the peanuts through. Serve as a garnish.
