Cranberries and apples in a sublime combination.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
5 granny smith apples, peeled and chopped
1 x 440g can cranberries
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup plain flour or oats

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Place the apples in a greased 23 cm square baking tin. Pour the cranberries over the apples and mix gently. Mix the sugar, margarine and flour, and spoon over the fruit.
  3. Bake for 30–40 minutes, until the apples are soft. Serve with ice-cream.
