Tabouli and hummus in flat bread

Many types of bread can be used for this satisfying vegetarian sandwich but I find the texture of flat breads, such as pitta, Lebanese or mountain bread, works especially well – and they are better at containing the filling, too!

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 piece flat bread
3 tablespoons Hummus
few drops tabasco or chilli paste, (optional)
4 tablespoons Tabouli

Method

  1. Spread the bread with hummus, leaving a 2 cm border around the edges.
  2. Add a few drops of Tabasco (if using), then spoon the tabouli on top. Carefully roll the bread up to trap the filling inside and serve straight away.
